Our Role
Facilities Services supports the mission of Texas State University by operating, maintaining, and improving the physical environment of all campuses. The department delivers essential services through Custodial Operations, Facilities Operations, Grounds and Waste Management, Materials Management & Logistics, and Utilities Operations.
Serving as the operational heartbeat of our department, the Facilities Warehouse ensures that technicians, trade crews, mechanics, and other Facilities staff have the exact tools, parts, and materials they need to keep campus grounds and infrastructure running smoothly and safely.
These teams work together to keep campus spaces clean, safe, reliable, and attractive, while promoting efficient use of resources and environmentally responsible practices in support of teaching, learning, research, and campus life.
