Canyon Residence Hall (James Street Housing)

Canyon Residence Hall is a new student community providing amazing views, close access to food service and recreation venues, and a convenient location along the campus shuttle, pedestrian mall, and future STEM Building.

The 7-story residence hall is comprised of 942 beds.  Amenities in the facility include a large student commons area, student lounge, student kitchen, seminar room, collaborative study rooms, package delivery pickup, gaming rooms, and laundry room.

Budget: $124M

Status: 12% Construction. Building Pad, drilled piers & detention pond retaining wall work is underway. Web cam is live (see below).

Est. Construction Start: December 12th, 2023

Est. Construction Completion: July, 2025

Scope: Construction of a seven-story residential structure with central community area, comprised of 221,678gsf, and accommodating 942 beds.
